Friends and neighbors, I need some assistance here. For reasons I do not pretend to understand I can no longer paste links, addresses or text into my blog.
If there is a way to contact Blogger to ask about it, I can't find it. There may be a solution in the Q&A section, but I'm not having any luck there either.
If anyone has any ideas I would be grateful. I am not aware of any problem with my comment function, but if it doesn't work Email me at P47f6f@aol.com.

what method are you using to copy and paste?
ReplyDeleteRight click of the mouse copy/paste
ctrl-c copy ctrl-v paste?
Highlight chose Edit-copy Edit-Paste?
Also, can you copy and paste elsewhere, either in the browser window itself, or in a Word document or the like?

ReplyDeleteJust did a quick search of Blogger's help pages, there's some complaints of this from a couple years ago. Solutions that worked then:
If you're using Internet Explorer right next to the address bar at the top of the window is an icon that looks like a broken page, thats your button to turn on "compatibility" mode, try turning that on and see if that works.
Also, from the Blogger Dashboard, go to Settings. On the first page that loads scroll all the way down to the bottom and under Global Settings make sure you have the option for "Updated Editor" chosen.

I will try these suggestions.
The control c/ control v suggestion should work for most small blocks of text. However, if you draft in MS Word like I do, you will need to click the edit HTML tab and then control v to paste large text blocks.
